Hi! I’m Joy. I’m a Singaporean living in Vancouver. I hope to get young adults more engaged in local issues in their cities as well as global current affairs.

This is a space where I do a reasonable amount of research, especially on more sensitive issues I write about, but I recognise much of how I write is coloured by my social and economic position in the world.

I aim to encourage a platform where a wide variety of perspectives are shared and act to counter navel gazing. I believe it is important for people with differing opinions to take the time to understand and if possible, respect one another's positions.
